Business owners along old Tooro road, who conduct their businesses around Kolping Gardens and New Court View Hoima, are crying out loud to Municipal authorities to handle an issue that has been on for some time, though municipal authorities have been aware of this and have done nothing.
Bohjan Investments is an Indian owned setup located at Main Street Hoima after Africell shop and John Kiberu stores. Bohjan operates a Guest house, for accommodation in a section of the Building and other side there is a pharmacy.
The accommodation seems to have had a big number of customers that have left the business sewage system broken down; where they channeled their sewage flow into the municipal trench that flows water from Rosaline suits side across the main street to Kolping Hotel. The smell was too much around the area is we visited the area. Business owners say it is worse when it’s raining.

Bunyoro Sqoop met with business owners around that place and we were told about their problem; “I think we should post it online to capture the attention of Municipal authorities” one bar attendant was quoted. The bar owner near the area not around to give us a comment.
“This is affecting our customers as the smell is hitting hard hence affecting us as a new business in town” New Court View Hoima one of the top management member had this to say.
A restaurant located on the nearby building is affected much and the owner told Sqoop on her efforts to contact the Bohjan management, her efforts to talk to Municipal workers about the issue that all went all in vain.
