Congolese motorcycle thieves beaten to coma

Over the weekend, Urombi 21 and Stephen 28 were beaten by angry residents of Masaka village Kigwera sub county Buliisa district over theft of Youth Livelihood Motorcycle Wanseko.

It’s alleged said Urombi and Stephen hired the motorcycle registration number UEW 581S from one bodaboda stage in Wanseko and went to Bugoigo where they were caught red handed with a stolen goat.

It’s also said they left the motorcycle in the act of  pursuing them, Businge Gerald told our reporter Urombi was mobbed at noon after claiming that he had left the motorcycle with Stephen in Bugoigo, later the police rushed to Buliisa General Hospital.
Currently the motorcycle is held at Bugoigo Police Station.

Speaking to our reporter, Bikanga Mark the Youth Chairperson Kigwera Sub County confirmed and condemned the act and said it’s not allowed one to hire or buy the YLP motorcycles.

He also added two motorcycles were in 2017 lost in liken manner, however advised the Youth to be keen with the motorcycles since it’s for their well-being.

In an effort to get a comment from the Officer in Charge Buliisa Central Police Station Evelyn Ayoo, this came futile since her number was not reachable for several times.
