Police warns Hoima man from launching his locally made missile.


Police has warned Mr. Anatoli Kiiza 32, a resident of Hoima district from launching his locally made missile. On Tuesday Kiiza asked government to authorize him to test his locally made missile on Lake Albert waters.

However, the Albertine Police Spokesperson Mr. Julius Hakiza told our reporter that Mr. Kiiza is not allowed to test his locally made missile noting that there are procedures which he is to engage the security operatives.

“He is not suppose to test the missile, but if he insists without following the procedures he will be arrested,” Mr. Hakiza warned him.
Mr. Anatoli Kiiza explains that he has so far engaged the Kagadi and Hoima Resident District Commissioners on the matter and they want to meet him and other leaders in Bunyoro.

“They may stop me but I will launch it. I have told people to withdraw from the Lake Albert for four days to that I can test it,” Mr. Kiiza noted.
He also revealed that he wanted to show the world that Africa can weapons since God created us in one image. “Some materials are exported whereas some are got here in Uganda”, He further noted.
This is the second time Mr. Anatoli Kiiza wants to test his locally made weapon despite being arrested seven time for the same move.
