It was on Easter Sunday when a great day was in its mid-day, the sun shine was shining bright as the Kingdom gates were halfway open, the Uganda flag was in the sky hanging and the mighty Bunyoro’s flag too. As the Kingdom work was moving on, the face of the palace was completely changed and still changing, workers were moving on with the erection of the perimeter wall (Muhuruzi).
When our reporter tried out a conversation with one laborer, the story was of brothers was at play, the laborer expressed his joy seeing the palace elevating to another level, “This is what we call money, and this is the glory of Bunyoro Kitara.” A worker as the conversation went on told our reporter. “After the quarantine some would rarely recognize Karuzika” He jokingly added.
The whole place is a beehive of activity, engineers are busy day after day, and the quality work exhibited is so promising and re-energizing.
If you may remember very well, at the face of the palace there was an already standing structure, what some of us thought was greatly laid. However, with the contractor’s confidence and expertise, all the front development did not match his standard and quality, it was smashed down by Easter Sunday of recent, a new foundation and setup was re-laid. Isn’t this a re-energizing development?
