The RDC Kagadi Lilian Ruteraho has hailed world vision for it’s tremendous support towards the development of Kagadi district.
Lilian was speaking during the closure of a two day joint monitoring exercise organised by World Vision at Paachwa primary school in Paachwa subcounty Kagadi district.
World Vision being one of key development partners in the district with activities in Subcounties of Kabamba, Kiryanga and Paachwa mainly focusing on child protection, education, household income, sanitation and hygiene organised a joint monitoring exercise with Technical staffs, Political leaders, DEC members, Speaker and Security cadres.
The exercise focused on schools, Savings cooperatives,water sources, community learning centres, Environmental clubs funded by world vision.
The LCV chairperson Byaruhanga Stephen Mfashingabo urged world vision to incorporate income generating activities in its work plans to increase household incomes and uplift the production sector to the cash economy.
In his remarks the Deputy CAO Fredrick Balemeezi cautioned administartive cadres at lower local governments and political leaders to embark on monitoring projects funded by development partners like world vision.
The exercise was closed with the launching of the campaign dubbed” End of violence aganist children in Kagadi district” sponsered by world vision spearheaded by the RDC Kagadi Lilian Ruteraho.
